Engineered Flooring
When we refer to engineered wood flooring, it is a reference to the various types of ways wood flooring is engineered and combined with a stable base such as plywood or HDF (high-density fibreboard), making engineered floors truly practical and authentic in both appearance and feel. This innovative construction provides extra strength to restrict the movement of the wood, making engineered wood flooring even more versatile. They come in all sorts of widths and lengths just like solids, but it is worth paying attention to the top layer of an engineered floor as thicker top layers mean that the floor can be sanded more and will last longer too.
